Jim Hart's technique is much more than another acting method. It is a new alternative to the declining repertory way of teaching acting. Hart gives the power back to the actor and away from the institutions by teaching tools of creativity and self reliance. His alternative is based in old mythic structures and the writings of Joseph Campbell - patterns that have proven themselves throughout history and cultures. Hart's technique is refreshing, new and most of all a practical way for one to explore their art and accomplish their goals.
