What is ACPA?

We are accepting applications now.

WHO SHOULD APPLY?

As ACPA is a professional artists’ finishing school, all students must have some artistic education or equivalent professional experience. Many of our students have been in the market and now seek skills to make them more marketable and competitive.

We seek individuals who have a perspective on the world they live in and desire to find their unique artistic voice, so as to most effectively communicate their art and voice.

ACPA is a unique institution and we seek a unique student body. We look for students who are self-motivated, driven, and seek an intensive, focused, experientially based line of study.

HOW TO APPLY:

All students must audition to be considered for the full-time conservatory program. Fill out an application from our website (find below), which will be auto generated. Prepare one monologue of your choice (original or scripted), not exceeding two minutes in length.

HOW TO SEEK TUITION FUNDS:

As ACPA is a young institution, we have not yet applied to be accredited. Only accredited schools may borrow government funds. As an institutuion, we are not structured to provide student loans ourselves. Therefore, all students are responsible for finding loan sources for tuition fees. Being young entrepreneurs, this is not the last time they will need to gather their own resources.

I have learned great acting technique. And about entrepreneurship, how to be innovative, and to think outside the box. The program gave me courage to believe I can be an independent artist.

And Jim, such an inspiring teacher!

Anitha Asbjoernsen  TITAN Alumni'08

I currently work as a professional Artist. I have not only received an extremely high level of education (from Hart), but have collected tools that help me in my professional journey. I co-run a production company and feel that the training i received, helped me broaden my views on what an artist is and

can be.

Michelle Karin Foreman--former student of Hart and TITAN Teaterskole

From the theatre training I was given in the two year period (from Hart), I learned how to utilize an acting method I can apply to any character. I was taught a technique I still use when I work as a professional actor.

Tomas Einarsson --TITAN Alumni ’08

Jim embodies what it means to be a true artist with a spirit for entrepreneurship.  I believe that Jim’s technique of artist development should be the cornerstone of any fine arts curriculum.

Ashley Hunter--entrepreneur, musician

I honestly don't know which has inspired me more; Watching Jims work as an actor, working with him as an actor or witnessing his ability to imagine, develop, and teach his life changing and profound way of functioning as an artist in today's extremely challenging artistic climate. Jim is truly one of my personal Heroes.
