What is ACPA?

TUITION and SCHOLARSHIPS

Local Scholarship: Many Austinites aspire to think globally and act locally. Austin Conservatory of Professional Arts is invested in supporting our local artists, inspiring leadership locally, nationally and internationally. This year, ACPA will offer a full-scholarship to two Austin-area artists (terms and conditions apply). Application Deadline is April 20th. Other partial scholarships may be available for other Austin-area artists. For more on our Scholarship Fund, read below.

Tuition for the one-year full-time conservatory program is $14,500. This tuition covers the 30 academic hours students complete in their weekly course of studies.

How is Tuition Decided?

Tuition Payments are made in two installments. First payment is due before the first day of classes and a second is due before the start of the semester, following the winter holidays.

For those who are accepted, a non-refundable deposit of $500 dollars must be made to the school within 30 days from notification of acceptance. Student deposit money will be reduced from each students’ tuition costs.

Scholarship Fund:

For those highly talented, motivated students who need assistance, we have a Scholarship Fund, giving scholarships for part tuition up to full. 90% of students attending ACPA receive some form of scholarship aide.

Scholarships: Talent and art are subjectively viewed. Consequently, our scholarships are awarded on a subjective level. All scholarship awards are decided upon by our school’s Board of Directors. Scholarships may be awarded in part or full.

Students who would like to be considered for a scholarship, can make their interest known if or when they have received their acceptance letter.
